Furniture Wax

Furniture wax is hard and soft. Accordingly, it has different characteristics.

Hard grades

Such a material has the following distinctive features:

• Rarely sold in stores;
• Expensive;
• A little color scheme.

Important! Hard wax is used only molten.

To properly remove all the shortcomings, you must follow the rules of use:

1. The material melts. To do this, you can use a gas torch, a soldering iron or a regular lighter.
2. We apply furniture wax on the damaged surface of a table, cabinet or other interior item.
3. A clerical knife is used to remove excess.
4. If necessary, grinding of the repaired place is carried out.

Soft varieties

They are used to repair scratches, dents, cracks and chips.

Important! A furniture wax of this type will help to cope with the holes from screws or small knocked edges.

Using it is very simple. First of all, a set of tools is being prepared, consisting of:

• Spatula;
• A piece of felt;
• Edge knife;
• Plastic caps for furniture corner;
• Wax.

Then you can proceed to the repair itself:

1. The wax is rubbed into the holes.
2. The material is superimposed on the edge with a knife.

Shoe polish

1. Wax (4 parts) and turpentine (3 parts) are mixed in a container.
2. Everything is thoroughly mixed and heated on low heat.
3. Then alcohol (2 parts) is added and the composition is mixed again.
