Painting a leather sofa

Before you start painting leather furniture, you should prepare the paint of the color in which you would like to see your sofa. You can buy dye for the skin in a special store or on sites where similar products are sold.

Important! If you are unable to find the desired shade, you can get it by mixing others, for example, if you want to get a dark brown color, but your dye seems too light, you can add a little black paint to it, and vice versa - for a lighter tone , use white paint.

What you need:

• Polyethylene or waste fabric.
• Paint for the skin.
• Bottle of water with a spray bottle.
• Acetone.
• Rags or clothes.
• Gloves.
• Topcoat for the skin.

Sequencing:

• Take the sofa to a well-ventilated area - a garage, a basement will do, and an open courtyard will be an ideal place to work.
