What are stretch ceilings made of?

They use polyester fabric or PVC film as a material for their production, which allows the stream to delight you with its appearance for a long time. Such canvases are very resistant to any adverse effects - dust, moisture, soot. But, despite this, they need to be cleaned regularly to completely eliminate the accumulation of harmful and far unattractive raids.

They design structures with different materials, therefore, their care is different. There are three types of suspended ceilings by surface type:

• glossy;
• matte;
• SLR.

This type of coating is distinguished by its gloss and reflective property. This should be taken into account in caring for them. You can use a soapy solution, detergent, or glass spray to get rid of serious dirt.

Method 1

To properly wash the gloss with soap or dishwashing detergent, follow the steps below:

1. Take 2L of water.
2. Add detergent until light foam forms.
3. Dip a special cleaning cloth in the solution.
4. Treat the pollution.
5. Dry with a soft, dry cloth.

Method 2

Try removing stains with a glass cleaner. It is done like this:

1. Spray liquid onto a surface.
2. Wipe dry with a soft suede cloth.

Note: before applying it to the ceiling, check the reaction of the material to this product in places hidden from the eyes.

Method 3

Well returns gloss to glossy ceilings ammonia. Treat this ceiling surface after each cleaning, and you will see your reflection in it. In order for the tool to benefit, and not harm, you need to act like this:

1. Take a 10% solution of ammonia.

Take care of it with a degreasing detergent. For this:

1. Prepare a soap solution.
2. Put it in a spray bottle.
3. Spray the detergent onto the ceiling.
4. Treat with a soft sponge.
5. Dry with a cloth.
6. Polish.

How to wash fabric ceilings?

Such canvases are considered the most vulnerable. Care should be taken with extreme care. Unlike other types of materials, stretch ceilings made of fabric cannot be treated with detergent, as additional stains and stains may form.

You need to wash such a surface with a powder solution and a brush in this way:

1. Prepare the powder solution to a paste-like mass by mixing it in plain water.
2. Take a soft brush.
3. Dip the brush into the solution.
4. Treat the pollution.

Note: you need to process the fabric ceiling with soft, direct movements, without pressing and pressing. The suede polyester ceiling should be cleaned with a dry, soft brush.
