The procedure for replacing bearings on a Samsung washing machine is carried out in several basic steps.

Tank dismantling

To get to the bearings, you have to almost completely disassemble the washer. Start by removing the top cover of the instrument. This operation is quite simple, because to displace the upper wall, it is enough to do the following:

1. Turn off fixing bolts.
2. Slide the top cover of the washer toward you.
3. Lift the part up.

Important! After removing the top panel, remove the powder container from the structure, because water can accumulate in it, and you must not allow moisture to get on the electronics during the repair process.

You should also carefully disconnect all the hoses that supply water to the Samsung washing machine system.

Important! Before removing the hoses, loosen the clamps with pliers.

It's time to dismantle the front wall of your washer. To safely and efficiently complete this step, follow these instructions:

1. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the fixing bolts of the sunroof locking system.
2. Disconnect the sensor wires.
3. Using a flat screwdriver, gently pry the steel cable at the base of the rubber cuff.

Removing and replacing bearings

After removing the tank from the washing machine, you need to expose the drum:

1. Having unfastened brackets and clips, dismantle the top and lower parts of a tank.
2. Having gained access to the drum with an axis, you can proceed directly to the extraction and replacement of bearings.

Inside the tank sleeve made of aluminum, there are two bearings - large and small:

• The larger component is knocked out by gently tapping the metal rod with a hammer in the direction from the outside to the inside.
• The smaller part is knocked out in the opposite direction.

Important! When knocking out a bearing, one cannot tap with a hammer at one point, since if the part is distorted there is an increased risk of its locking in the sleeve.

After thoroughly wiping the inner surface of the sleeve with a clean rag, you can begin to install a new bearing on the Samsung washing machine. This procedure is carried out according to the following algorithm:

1. Put the bearing into the sleeve.
2. Push the part as deep as possible with your fingers.
3. Lay a wooden block over the bearing.
4. Gently tap the tree several times with a hammer, which will lead to a gradual landing of the bearing in its proper place.
