First of all, in this case, you do not need to waste time on transportation. Yes, and there may be a number of other reasons. Why do you need a stove?

It is difficult to imagine a modern kitchen without this appliance, since it is thanks to it that food is cooked. Everyone knows why a gas stove is chosen more often than an electric stove - the cooking process is faster on it.

Burners

This element is the most important in design. The main role is for nozzles through which the air-gas mixture flows to the surface of the burners. Their diameter depends on the quality of the gas and its pressure.

Important! At higher pressures, nozzles should have a smaller bore diameter.

Modern plates are quite versatile, with them often come with sets of nozzles:

• If necessary, those installed by the manufacturer are removed and those necessary are installed.
• Also, there is usually a burner with increased power, the diameter of which is increased. Thus, fire of a more powerful stream is obtained.
• In addition, there are models with combined burners - both gas and electric.

Hob

For the manufacture of this element, stainless or enameled steel is used. Stainless steel is more practical, since it has excellent chemical resistance, it is easy to wash, it is not affected by corrosion.

To design the hob, special tempered glass is often used, which is characterized by increased strength and impact resistance. Caring for it is very simple - it is enough to periodically wipe the glass with a damp rag. It’s very convenient that you can choose any color of the surface, depending on the design of the kitchen.

Oven

Oven can be:

• Electrical;
• Gas;
• With a grill.

A gas oven can be without a fan, with two heating modes, or the air in it can be forced to circulate:

• In the first case, the lower gas burner is located in the oven, sometimes there is also an electric or gas grill. In order to make the meat as if fried on charcoal, it is better to use a gas grill. And the electric grill warms the dish more evenly.
• In the second case, the oven is equipped with hollow burners, so that the flame is not blown out by the fan.
• Electric ovens can be ordinary classic and multifunctional:
  1. The first option is equipped with upper and lower electric heating elements.
  2. The second - four elements located on top, bottom, side and back. In such ovens there is a fan for even distribution of heated air.

Gas stove repair

Gas is characterized by increased explosion hazard.When it mixes in a certain ratio with air, an explosion can occur.

Important! Before proceeding with the repair, it is necessary to block the gas access. It is recommended to open the window and turn off the electric ignition.

We repair burners

Burner problems are the most common. In this case, a noticeable attenuation of the flame occurs, and then it completely disappears. The cause is a clogged burner or divider. Particles of food or detergent can get into these small holes.

DIY gas stove repair in this case is very simple:

1. Remove the burner.
2. We disassemble it.
3. Thoroughly clean the divider or nozzle. To do this, use a thin needle or gypsy needle.

Important! Before cleaning, check that the burners are completely cooled.

We repair the oven door

Over time, it happens that the doors begin to jam and close tightly. It’s easy to adjust them:

1. Unscrew the screws at the junction of the door and plate. They do not need to be completely removed.
2. The door swings slightly until it sits on the hinges.
3. Insert a sheet of paper into the gap between the plate and the seal. In normal condition, it should be pressed tightly.

We repair the thermocouple of the electromagnetic valve

The gas leakage control system is very important. Thanks to it, leakage is prevented in case of involuntary flame attenuation. The problem with the thermocouple is the flame attenuation immediately after the button is released.

Important! The thermocouple is presented in the form of a metal pin, in which the upper part is pointed. Its location is next to the burner. The principle of operation of this temperature sensor is very simple:

• the flame goes out;
• there is a decrease in temperature;
• then - thanks to gas control, the valve automatically shuts off.

That is why even if the burner is on, no gas flows.

To eliminate this problem, grease, soot and dirt are removed from the thermocouple, for which ordinary sandpaper is used.

Important! If the situation does not change after such a procedure, you will have to deal with disassembling the panel and replacing the device.

We repair electric ignition

Thanks to this function, a gas stove can be set on fire without using matches or a lighter. To do this, the stove needs to be additionally connected to the outlet, but the operation of household appliances is becoming safer.

Important! Failures of electric ignition occur quite rarely.

The reasons for this are either pollution or breakdown of the ignition during the wiping of the stove. In any case, the element needs to be changed, for which:

1. The gas stove is turned off.
2. The partition located under it is being disassembled.
3. The old electric ignition is disconnected from the bracket.
4. A new item is being installed.

Important! Before mounting a new device, it is necessary to disconnect the ignition control module.

Testing repair quality

In any case, after repair, you need to check how tight the taps and joints are. To do this, soap solution is applied to suspicious areas. If bubbles appear in it, there is a leak that must be eliminated.
