The design feature of these devices is that they have compact dimensions and low weight. But in order to quickly heat the water, powerful heating elements are needed. This implies certain wiring requirements. In order for the device to work stably, you will need a wire with a cross section of 4-6 mm2.

Important! Also check in advance how much current your meter is designed for. If the current does not exceed 40 A, then it must be replaced. Stationary installation involves the supply and intake of hot water in parallel with the water supply. For fixed connection you will need 2 tees. The rules for installing a water heater according to the stationary type are as follows:

1. Cut tees into pipes for hot and cold water.
2. Install the cranes, remembering to wind the connection with FUM tape or tow. You can use sealing paste.
3. Connect the pipe with cold water to the heater inlet (blue marking).
4. Connect the hot water outlet to the hot water stopcock.
5. Open the mixer and taps, check the tightness of the resulting structure.
6. Plug in the socket (as an option - automatic). Hot water will flow from the mixer.

Important! If you live in an apartment building, do not forget to block the hot water riser so that the heated water does not rush into the pipes of neighboring apartments.

How to install a storage water heater?

Storage devices are characterized by a relatively low cost and the absence of any special wiring requirements. It is for these two reasons that they are much more popular than flow-through ones.

The installation procedure is as follows:

1. Choose a place to secure the boiler. Using a marker, mark where the device is mounted to the wall. Drill holes for dowels. As a rule, such holes need 2, sometimes 4.
2. Insert the dowels and secure the hooks. Mount the unit on the wall.
3. After the boiler is mounted, start connecting the water supply. If the connection points are out, it remains to make connections with flexible hoses or pipes.
4. Install a special valve on the cold water inlet. It is needed to relieve pressure. As a rule, it is included. If the kit is not equipped with a valve, buy one. A valve is required.
5. Install another 1 tee in front of the shutoff valve. You can not do this, but then during the repair it will be more difficult to drain the water from the tank. Secure all connections with FUM tape or tow.

8. Have you connected a water supply? Now open both taps and wait until the air stops coming out of the hot water tap. At the same time, check whether the connections made are leaking.
9. Connect the power source. Connection can be made through a circuit breaker or socket.

The contacts on the terminals of the device are marked as follows:

• L - phase, brown wire.
• N is zero, the wire is blue.
• Grounding - can be of any color, most often use a yellow wire.

How to install a gas heater?

1. Decide on the installation location of the hot water heater. Mark the holes for the dowels.

4. Install a corrugation to discharge combustion products into the chimney. Put one end of the corrugation on the outlet of the device, and bring the other out into the flue. Make sure that the connection is tight.
5. Connect the gas inlet to the appropriate pipe using a certified rubber hose.
6. Turn on the tap and turn on the gas.
