The shoe can be presented, but not ordinary, but almost magical. A handmade shoe made of paper can be used for a beautiful and unusual gift, for example, ordinary sweets, perfume or money, which will make the gift original and definitely will not leave you unnoticed. Depending on the decor, such a masterpiece can be presented to any celebration, be it a wedding, birthday, New Year or March 8th. The following is an example of how to do this and what materials you will need.

DIY shoes

Do-it-yourself paper shoes can be used:

• as a decor to decorate a gift;
• like packing;
• just as an item for decorating the room.

Necessary materials:

• Thick colored paper and cardboard.
• Template.
• A simple pencil.
• Scissors.
• Knitting needle or wooden stick.
• Glue for paper.
• Decor for decoration.

Phased steps:

• Download the template on the Internet and increase it to the size you need.
• Attach the template to the colored paper and circle, using a simple pencil, this will be the inside.
• Circle the outside on cardboard.
• Cut out all the elements of the future product.
• On the cardboard at the places of the folds, draw dashed lines according to the pattern.
• Use a sharp wooden stick or knitting needle to draw along the dashed lines, bend the details along them so that the pattern neatly develops.
• Apply glue along all necessary lines and glue.

Important! It is best to glue starting from behind the heel.

• Let the product dry well.
• We repeat the same procedure with the inside - in places of the bends we hold a sharp object.
• Apply glue to the inside and gently glue it to the outside, starting with the toe.
• Fold the shoe so that the inside looks neat.

It remains just to decorate your product. To do this, you can use any decor items, for example, beads, sequins, small flowers, lace, ribbons at your discretion.

Candy shoe

Consider another very interesting type of gift, which will be the size of shoes like size 36. You will need:

• Shoes 36 sizes (or size at your discretion).
• Corrugated cardboard.
• Glue gun.
• Double sided tape.
• Wire.
• Penoplex.
• Pencil.
• Scissors and office knife.
• Sandpaper.
• Thin cardboard and corrugated colored paper.
• Decor
• Candies.

Sequencing:

• To get started, make a sketch - to do this, circle the sole and draw a heel, or find the finished template on the Internet.
• Attach the sole template to the corrugated paper, circle and cut two identical blanks - this is the sole for your product.
• Glue double-sided tape on one of the blanks, lay on top three pieces of wire.
• Cover the entire surface with glue, attach a second blank.
• Give the shoe a heel shape.
• Attach the sole template to the foam, cut the platform for the toe of the craft, triangular in shape.
• Cut the heel out of the foam with a sketch.
• Sand the workpieces using emery paper.

Important! To make the heel stable, insert wire into it.

• Glue the rectangular-shaped cardboard to the workpiece of the sole, cut off the excess around the edge.
• Next, glue the platform to it with hot glue, again glue the cardboard in shape.
• Paste over the heel, the sole and the inside of the future shoe with corrugated paper. Choose the color of your choice.
• Glue the heel.
• Wrap the sweets with pre-prepared petals to make a flower.
• Decorate the finished masterpiece at your discretion.
