Oil

Which oil is best for frying such snacks? It all depends on what you want to get on the output:

  • Usually, for cooking such products, vegetable oil is taken. Do not regret it; pour more into the pan. Fry the pancakes on a small fire.
  • For diet syrniki it is better to take olive oil.
  • If you want a golden crust on your cottage cheese, add some butter.

Important! At the end, put the finished product on a paper towel that absorbs excess fat.

How to choose the right base for such a seemingly simple dish?

  • Best syrniki are obtained from a product with a fat content of 6-9%. From fatter cottage cheese, they can fall apart when frying.
  • If you come across dry cottage cheese, do not worry, add sour cream, kefir or milk.
  • An expired and sour product is better not to use - you just ruin a delicious dish.
  • If you didn’t have the right foundation at hand, but there is kefir, then you can make homemade cottage cheese. Cut a hole in the bag and put the bag of kefir in the oven for an hour and a half at a temperature of 80 degrees.

Important! To make the dish soft and tender, pass the curd mass through a meat grinder, blender or sieve.

What should be the dough?

It is not recommended to add baking powder or soda to the dough for such pancakes so that it increases in volume. The dough for cheesecakes should be thick and heavy.

Optionally, add nuts and raisins. For the glaze you need to take 3 tablespoons of milk and the same amount of sugar, 30 grams of butter, 2 tablespoons of cocoa.

  1. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or use a blender.
  2. Separate the yolks and beat them with sugar. Add grated lemon zest, semolina, cottage cheese and butter. Mix the dough well - this can be done with a mixer.

  4. Add raisins and nuts.
  5. Prepare a baking dish - lay it with parchment and grease with oil.
  6. Put the dough and bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  7. When the bun has cooled, remove it from the mold.
  8. Prepare the icing: melt the butter, mix with sugar, add milk and cocoa. Cook a couple of minutes and turn it off.
