Tips for crocheting a rug on a grid:

• For knitting, it is advisable to choose thicker yarn threads. Knit should be given the size of the mesh cell, which will serve as the basis for the product. Knitting should cover the entire mesh completely, as a result of which the mesh should be invisible.

Important! If you use thin yarn, then it is better to fold the threads, for example, in half.

• For different rooms, products from different types of yarn will be appropriate. For example, in the bathroom it is better to make a rug using synthetic fiber. For a doormat in the hallway, it is best to use a mesh made of silicone so that there is no slip. It is always available and is quite inexpensive. For the bedroom, it is better to use natural threads, that is, cotton or wool.
• To give stability to the basis, it is advisable to use more rigid grids, and if you need a softer product, then it is better to take a silicone grid as the basis.
• The method of crocheting is very simple, even a child can repeat it. Tying the mat is carried out according to a certain principle: the hook is inserted on top of the mesh into one of the cells, the thread is pulled on the other side, and then stretched into a loop that is on the hook.
• If the outer edge of the net is used as the beginning for knitting, then you can continue it by tying the net around the perimeter and ending in the center. You will not need to change the threads too often.
• Another way is knitting in rows. Rows can be done vertically, and then horizontally, changing colors. As a result, an interwoven woven fabric with different mixed colors in places where there is an intersection of threads should be obtained.

Important! The front side is almost completely closed with hooks. This is reminiscent of knitting. The bottom side looks different, since only one thread passes on it, while the mat will not slip if stepping on it.

Fluffy rug from pompons

If after knitting some things you still have yarn, then do not rush to throw it away. It can be used to create a wonderful fluffy do-it-yourself rug. The product may have a square round or any other shape.

To work, you will need the following:

• Yarn (better if it is multi-colored).
• Sewing needles.
• Scissors.
• Thick cardboard.
• Mesh for the base.

The manufacturing sequence is as follows:

1. In order to create fluffy pompons, which will consist of a rug in the future, do the following: cut a circle of suitable diameter from cardboard, in which in the middle mark a circle of smaller diameter. After that, cut it out by making a hole in the circle from cardboard. Do such pieces 2 pieces.
2. Take the yarn and wind it around the cardboard rings with a needle folded together. At the same time, the amount of yarn should be quite large - it will depend on how fluffy the resulting ball will be.
3. When the whole ring is wrapped with yarn, fasten the last thread and remove the needle.
4. Take the scissors and cut them with yarn on the outside of the two wound rings.
5. Separate the two rings, tie the yarn in the middle with the thread as tight as possible, without cutting the threads for dressing.
6. Trim the pompom with scissors to remove excess.
7. Make such pompons as necessary.
8. Take the base, and start tying the fluffy balls to it as densely as possible to each other so that there are no gaps and the grid is not visible.
9. Fill fluffy pom-poms over the entire base.

Rug from old knitted t-shirts

Surely, everyone in the closet has a large number of old knitted t-shirts. Some - just do not like, others - in the process of socks lost their appearance. For work you will need the following:

• Old, unnecessary knit t-shirts.
• Yarn,
• Large crochet hook.
• The basis in the form of a grid.

The sequence of actions looks like this:

• To get started, prepare strips of t-shirts. It is advisable to cut them approximately 2 cm wide.

Important! Do not worry if the material of the T-shirts is shed, because on the rug it will be imperceptible.

• Turn the first strip into a ringlet and start from the center. Then tie the resulting ring in a column. Make about ten such columns, tying the ring obtained at the beginning of the work.
• Next, continue crocheting in a circle. Knitting loops is carried out without a crochet through each loop of the previous row. In this case, it is required to evenly make each increase in the loops, knitting two single crochet from the loop.
• After inserting the hook into the loop in the previous row, pull the thread through it.

Important! The technique of knitting in a circle involves the introduction of a hook into the loop in the previous circular row.

• After that, pull the thread through both halves of the loop immediately so that they cannot stretch too much. So tie the whole circle.
• At the end of each knitted strip, take the next one and attach it to the tip of the previous one.
• Continue knitting until the stripes end. Thus, you will get the product of the desired diameter.
