Mounting the baseboard with glue

It is enough to purchase a high-quality sealant that will firmly attach the baseboard to the table. This is the easiest, most convenient and most popular way.

For work, prepare:

• ordinary or silicone sealant;
• hacksaw;
• roulette wheel;
• pencil or marker.

Perform the following manipulations in stages:

1. Before you put the plinth on the countertop and fix it, make accurate measurements in assembled form to determine how many strips, corners and plugs you need.
2. Align the interface, thoroughly clean from dirt and dust, then degrease.
3. Divide the strip into two parts: a plastic base and a decorative latch in the form of an overlay. Measure out the necessary piece of the base, cut it with a hacksaw.
4. Coat the surfaces adjacent to the countertop and the wall with glue.
5. Glue the product in its place.
6. Install the inner corner, then repeat the steps taken along the entire perimeter of the installation.
7. Calculate the required length of the decorative strip.
8. Cut the latch, taking into account the size of the docking corner, then bring the panel under it, slightly press and snap.
9. Repeat the same steps around the installation. At the left and right edges, install end caps.

Important! If you will use silicone sealant, then note that then you can no longer remove the skirting board.
