• Level construction (laser).
• Building tape, pencil - for marking.
• Dowels and screws. The latter, if the product is wooden, can be replaced with ordinary nails.
• Drill with a set of drills.

The procedure is as follows:

1. Choose a place for installation. It is desirable that this was a free place, and not surrounded by photographs and paintings. Pre-attach the shelf to the wall and see how harmoniously it fits into the interior. If everything suits you, you can proceed directly to the installation of the product.
2. Examine the bottom board and select the locations for the fasteners. Drill small holes for self-tapping screws and fix metal mounts.
3. Make markings on the wall. Put the shelf against the wall, and let the assistant make marks with a pencil, preferably under each of the holes.
4. Drill holes in the wall according to the marks. If the wall is concrete, then you need to use dowels.
5. Attach the shelf so that the holes in the wall and on the mounts match. Carefully tighten the screws.

Custom shelf mounts

The described types of installation are used for simple constructions, whether it is a “glazed box” or a horizontally located board. However, designers create unusual designs with a complex shape: in the form of animals, plants, geometric shapes or bodies. Here you can use the same traditional methods of fastening shelves to the wall or non-standard solutions:

• With the help of a familiar object - boards with a thickness of 1.7-2.0 cm, you can make an unusual design: fasten on it shelves in the form of spirals, plant motifs, geometric shapes. The shape of the stands for accessories can be very different.
• Family tree. A vertical board depicts a trunk, and shelf branches are attached to it on both sides. On them you can place photographs of several generations.
• Board on the straps. As a shelf, a wooden, well-polished board with straps is used. It is not necessary that it was genuine leather. A leatherette or a tape made of wide, durable textile looks good.

Important! Of course, such a shelf is not for heavy books. But as a decorative interior item with small souvenirs, it looks worthy. Belts are fixed on screws with plastic dowels.
