Cooking material

For a basket of plastic bottles with your own hands, prepare the material:

2. Cut off the neck and bottom.

Important! There is another way to make long ribbons for weaving. It is necessary to glue the bottle with tape and cut the tapes in a spiral.

This weaving consists of zigzags connected in one canvas. To issue it:

1. Tapes are prepared in a ratio of 1: 8, if the strip width is 1 cm, then the length is 8 cm.
2. Having bent a strip in half, bend the ends to the middle. Get one triangle element.
3. Insert a second, also folded part into the gaps. Repeat, and get a chain of connected parts.
4. Pad the sides. You get a base frame for the bottom.
5. Fill the interior by inserting one element into another.
6. Weave a few more stripes, the length of the base.
7. Putting the box vertically to the base, connect them with a fishing line.
8. Weave a double ribbon handle.
9. The whole structure is fastened with a harsh thread or fishing line stretched between individual triangles.
10. Garnish with flowers cut from the bottom of the bottle.

Important! The finished basket is too heavy for hiking in the forest. It is suitable for home decoration as well as for indoor flowers and for street decoration.

Chess way

An easier method to make a basket from a plastic bottle with your own hands is that you do not need to make individual parts. Operating procedure:

1. Take a cardboard box the size of a finished box by the frame.
2. Cut the long tapes with an elastic band on top of the box.
3. Pull the strips across one by one.
4. Having formed the bottom, go to the walls.
5. Finish the edge by wrapping the ends of the plastic inward and stretching the stripes along the weave.

Important! This option is good in that you can weave a box of any size. Increase short stripes by connecting the working strip with another tape. If the tapes fall into the warp, fasten them with a stapler to the cardboard for the duration of the work.

From two bottles of green and brown you can make a decorative basket for artificial flowers:

1. Cut the neck of a brown bottle.
2. Without cutting to the end, make longitudinal cuts - so that you get a fringe.
3. Bend the strips inward through one.
