In order to prepare PVA glue, you will need:

• 1 liter of distilled water;
• 5 g of gelatin, which is intended for photographs;
• 4-5 g of pharmacy glycerin;
• wheat flour 100 g;
• 20 ml of ethyl alcohol, which can be purchased at the pharmacy.

The glue is prepared in 2 stages:

1. Preparatory, during which, in a glass of water, you should soak the gelatin for about a day;
2. Main.
   

Once the gelatin is already swollen in water, you can start cooking your homemade PVA glue:

1. Place the container with distilled water in a water bath.
2. Add the prepared gelatin to it, stirring with a small amount of ordinary water, so that there are no lumps.
3. Bring the whole mixture to a boil, but in no case boil. She must become like thick sour cream.
4. In order for the mixture to be homogeneous, stirring it constantly.
5. Add glycerin as well as alcohol. To obtain a creamy mass, thoroughly mix this solution. This can take 5-10 minutes - it all depends on the amount of solution being prepared.
6. For its complete readiness for use, be sure to cool the glue.

• it cannot be stored for a long time in liquid form, because it deteriorates very quickly, becomes moldy, and it also gels;

4. Place this solution in a special container for melting, which is called a buttercloth. It can be made independently from an ordinary tin can.
5. Place the prepared buttercloth along with the cooked mass in a water bath, and then put on a very slow fire.
6. The mass is constantly mixed with a stick, which is made of wood.
7. In the event that it burns, your glue will turn yellow and lose a significant part of its adhesive functions.
8. After this mass goes into the necessary state, dilute it with vodka in the proportion of 720 g of glue to 950 g of vodka.
9. Then - for every 100 g of glue, add 12 g of powder alum.

Important! The wood glue obtained by this method provides a sufficiently high strength to the glued surfaces, and also has quite good water-repellent functions.

The second way:

1. In a buttercloth, boil wood glue with water in a 1: 1 ratio.
2. Wait until it begins to thicken.
3. Pour the mass into a container of porcelain and use a pestle to grind until this solution resembles a gelatinous mass.
4. After that, put the mixture on a special plate, cool and cut into pieces.

Important! If there is such a need, dissolve 720 g of the obtained glue in a mixture, which consists of 720 g of water, as well as 360 g of vodka. Bring this mixture to a boil.
