1. Installation of a profile from drywall and metal.
2. Partitioning for maximum structural strength.

Profile system:

• The gypsum board partition includes a rack profile, which should be located not only at the door frame, but also around the entire perimeter of the structure.
• The profile is mounted in the most usual way - with the help of self-tapping screws, it is additionally reinforced with a beam, which is mounted vertically. Thanks to this, the frame will be in the form of the letter P, thereby ensuring stability and a long service life.
• A jumper must be installed above the door, which will be the top base of the door frame.

Drywall door

• Between the box doorway we leave a gap of several millimeters.

• After installing the door leaf, align the door with pre-prepared wedges.
• Next, we fasten the door using anchors that firmly fix the door frame to the profiles, thereby enhancing the structural strength in the opening.
• Drywall openings that are located between the profile and the door frame are filled with polyurethane foam.

Important! Do not forget that the mounting foam must expand after drying. Therefore, do not fill up the openings too much so as not to overdo it. Otherwise, it can lead to a skew of the door frame. This can be eliminated by installing spacers in the box itself before filling the opening with foam.

• While the foam dries, in the meantime, prepare our door. We install the hinges, lock and door handle. We mount accessories with a screwdriver and self-tapping screws for woodwork. We place the hinges indented from the very edge of the door about 20 cm.

Important! The level of the hinges on the door should be equal to the level on the door frame.

• We install the door in two to three days, since the foam in the door frame should completely become solid. We check for evenness of the structure using the building level.
• After installing the door leaf, we finish the opening with the help of platbands. Usually they are sold complete with a door and are mounted on small nails no more than 20 cm long.
• If polyurethane foam protrudes beyond the borders, then carefully cut it off with a clerical knife.

Important! If you suddenly stained drywall during work, do not get upset. Its surface can be washed quickly using a sponge with soapy water.
