How to make a clamshell card?

Method one

First of all, prepare the necessary items:

• A4 paper.
• Wooden plank.
• Scrap paper.
• Ruler.
• A simple pencil.
• Glue.
• Silicone stamps.
• Hole puncher.
• Decorative elements (at your discretion).
• Stationery knife.

How to act:

1. First of all, you need to prepare a blank for a future postcard. To do this, we make a drawing on a sheet of paper or cardboard.
2. Mark the center and draw a line horizontally. From it in each direction back five centimeters and also draw lines.
3. Rectangles with sides of five and fifteen centimeters are drawn opposite each other on the horizontal sides of the sheet.
4. Now arm yourself with a clerical knife and make cuts along these triangles - the sides that lie to each other.
5. Using a ruler or any other blunt object, draw along the remaining lines and fold the product. You should get a blank postcard of an unusual shape.
6. The next step is the choice of design. Cut out the following details from two colors of drape paper: four squares with sides of five centimeters, one rectangle of ten by six centimeters, and two details resembling a pedestal on which athletes who take first to third place become.
7. The edges of each fragment toned.
8. Now the fun begins - creating the decor. From the white paper, cut an oval that could fit on the details in the shape of a rectangle, glue it to it.
9. Make an inscription on the oval with the phrase congratulations, for example, “Happy Birthday” or “Happy New Year!”.
10. Make holes with a hole punch at the edges.
11. In one of the cubes, cut a circle in the center and glue the rose along the edge (or any other decor of your choice).
12. Glue one more to the cube.
13. Glue the remaining parts to the workpiece. The congratulatory phrase should be in the middle.
14. Gently fold the workpiece and in the center stick the cube with the decoration in the form of a flower.

The easiest way

You will need:

• Colored paper or cardboard.
• A simple pencil.
• Ruler.
• Scissors.
• Decorative elements.
• Felt-tip pens.

Master Class:

1. On a colored sheet of paper or cardboard, draw a line in the center horizontally and fold our sheet along it.
2. In the upper right corner, cut a square with four centimeters.
3. To the rectangle that remains on the left, we give the shape of a semicircle.
4. We bend the upper left side horizontally, giving the shape of a heart.
5. Circle the resulting heart with a felt-tip pen and bend it inside the card. Write a congratulatory phrase on it.

That's all. Postcard is ready! It remains only to decorate it from the outside and from the inside with the help of decorative elements, you can also write poetic lines.

Since the New Year tree is the main subject and an integral attribute of the New Year and Christmas holidays, it will be the main focus in our gift card. DIY clamshell - a diagram of the creation of this model looks like this:

1. First, let's make the foundation.Fold a sheet of paper or cardboard in half horizontally. Glue double-sided tape on the outside edges.
2. From the gift paper we make tubes. The first should be eight to ten centimeters long, the subsequent ones should be less. Thus, we form a Christmas tree from them by gluing it to the cover of the card.
3. It remains only to attach a star from paper to the top of the tree and decorate it with several buttons.
4. From brown paper, you can cut the trunk for the Christmas tree, but that's what you want.
5. The design inside also remains at your discretion. For example, you can write poetry.

On the eighth of March

It’s a great idea to make a card for mom, grandmother or even a friend on March 8 with your own hands:

1. A blue sheet of colored paper is cut in half horizontally. We will need any of the parts. Bend it in half in any direction.
2. Now we begin to create a decor. In our case, it will be a vase with flowers.
3. From pink paper, cut a rectangle and glue it to the card. This will be our vase.
4. The next step is to cut multi-colored circles of different sizes, glue them. The result is a flower. We attach a strip of green cardboard to it and install it in a vase.
5. Make a couple more of these colors.
