For any holiday, the most important thing is a good mood, and the best way to create the necessary atmosphere is balloons. Thanks to their bright colors and various shapes, they cheer up both children and adults. In addition, in recent years, crafts from them have been gaining more and more popularity. For example, you can arrange a vase with flowers, which will not only decorate the room, but also will cheer up all participants in the process. How to make a simple basket of flowers out of balls? Crafts of this kind are made from special long balls for modeling, they are called SHDM for short. For a basket with flowers, you will need such SDM of different colors and a pump, and of course, a lot of patience and a little imagination. And now we will understand in detail what to do with all this.

Workshop basket №1

There are various technologies for creating such crafts. And many of them can be mastered on their own. But it’s better to start with simpler ideas. This does not mean that you have to act to the detriment of the design - such crafts also turn out to be very interesting, bright. And the fact that such a gift will cause a lot of delight - there is no doubt about it.

Let's take a step-by-step master-class of a basket of balls with our own hands:

• Inflate one SDM with the help of a pump, twist at the end three identical round bubbles, roll them with a ring.
• Make 5 more such blanks. It should be a six-beam design.
• Twist the middle parts of each three into locks. This design will serve as the basis for our basket.
• Inflate the SDM to half, twist one small bubble from the edge. We clamp it in one of the three locks on the base, and we wrap the entire body of the element around this lock.
• Further along the surface of this part we twist two more parts, the last SDM is also turned into a lock.
• We do the same with five more details. As a result, we should get a base with knitting needles.
• Now you need to turn the base upside down - so it will be more convenient to weave. We inflate the next SDM, at the end we turn the round bubble, pass it into the lock on the spoke and wrap it around.
• We inflate the next five SDMs and twist them not elongated, but oblong, fasten around the castle with knitting needles.
• We connect the last element with the first, cut off the rest, and wrap the first one in the lock.
• Turn the basket over, inflate the next SDM, continue weaving according to the same principle.
• The castle obtained at the end of the tier can be hidden inside the basket.

Important! It is necessary to plan the location of longline locks so that each of them is on a separate spoke. If all the locks are on the same spoke, then the basket will turn out deformed.

• If you want the basket to expand upwards, then the length of the parts must be increased with each tier. To narrow the shape of the basket, the length of the elements is reduced. To get even walls, parts must be the same size.
• When all the tiers are ready, twist the bubbles on the knitting needles and roll them into locks.
• If you want to create a basket with a handle, then inflate one SDM, tie it to the locks on opposite sides.

As you can see, there are no particular difficulties, and the whole process will take no more than half an hour. The main thing is to adapt, and then the work will go faster and more fun.

Workshop basket №2

Before you start knitting a basket, you need to prepare several balls of the same size, that is, inflate them so that the length of the bodies and tails is the same. This is very simple to depict: we inflate and tie one SDM, and then taking it as a sample, inflate and tie others.

How to work:

• When working, everything must be kept on weight, the parts pressed with the elbows to the sides, and the basket itself should be held in hands. There is dust on any table, and if the elements rub against the table, they will receive microscopic damage. Products created on weight live longer than those that are formed on the table.
• Before twisting, gently squeeze the part with your fingers so that the ball at the point of twisting is not very tight and not very sluggish.

Important! In the first case, the bubble will turn out to be very tight and will burst quickly, and in the second case, it will not curl into a round part at all.

• Long bubbles within the tier should be the same length. Therefore, before twisting, attach the SDM over the previous part, mark the imaginary line of twist, and twist the part along this line.
• When twisting and wrapping, the bubbles should not rub against each other with their walls. A sign of this will be a loud creak. If you created a craft and it creaks, it means that your ShDM get damaged, and such a design will not last long.

So, let's start making our basket:

1. Inflate four identical SDMs.
2. Place a bubble on the body of the first SDM, then a small round one, and roll it into a lock.
3. With the rest of the SDM we do the same.
4. We connect all the elements together without tying it, but simply wrapping the tails in the junction.
5. On one SDM we make a small bubble, twist it three times. On the same ball, measure the part along the lower tier and make a twist. We got two parts on one SDM - one small and one large, and on the other - only a small bubble.
6. Now we twist together two elements at the joints. We make a big bubble, on the next SDM - a small one. Twist, and so on throughout the tier.
7. To finish the tier, make a big pimple and push it between two SDMs.
8. When the first two tiers are connected, you need to twist the round bubbles inside the basket into locks.
9. To complete the decorative object, the round parts are twisted on the remains of the SDM and rolled into locks. The remainder of the SDM is cut off.
10. When the basket itself is ready, a handle can be attached on both sides.

Balloons Flowers

We made a basket, now let's make flowers for it, because without them it will not be so interesting. To arrange the flower, you will need two-color ShDM. Since one of the flowers will go to the stem, at least one of them should be green. The second can be any other color, for example, pink:

1. Inflate the pink ball so that the tail remains about 5 cm.
2. Twist the bubble from the side of the tail, wrap it twice.
3. Make sure all sausage parts are equally soft and the same size.
4. You should get six of these details. Try to wrap them in one direction.
5. Tie the workpiece into a ring.
6. To make a petal, bend one bubble in half, bring its ends together, wrap it two times.
7. Do the same with all the details.
8. Align the petals in the same plane.
9. Now you need to create a stalk. To do this, inflate the green SDM. At the tail, fold the bubble and fold it in half. This will be the core of the flower.
10. Put it between the petals and your flower is ready.
