Preparatory stage

Important! Do not hang decorative paintings in a room with high humidity in this way.

How to hang a picture on drywall with hooks?

1. To get started, clean the surface of the wall from dirt. You can use a dishwashing liquid or other detergent. Then the walls must be washed with clean water and dried. The surface must be dry and clean.
2. Now the surface needs to be degreased. In the place where you will glue the hook, there should be no grease stains. In addition, the surface should be flat.
3. Glue the hook in the chosen place. Press it firmly so that it sticks to the wall as much as possible.
4. It remains only to hang the canvas.

We hang a heavy picture

1. You need to determine where the metal frame is located. This can be done with a magnet. If we have a blank in the form of a wooden beam, then we use it. We mark the place where the product will hang.
2. We drill a hole of the desired diameter. The diameter must match the fastener. It is best to mount on special butterfly dowels. They are specially designed to work with drywall and are distinguished by the fact that when twisted, they form a pattern that can withstand heavy weight. You can use an anchor bolt, but here you need to take into account one nuance - it is unlikely to be able to dismantle the picture if it is mounted on an anchor.
3. We insert the dowel into the resulting hole. The edge of the dowel should be flush with the wall.
4. We insert a screw into the dowel and twist it with a screwdriver. Now even a heavy product can be hung on a screw.
