How to make a bread box with a plastic bottle?

Even a person who is far from creativity can make such a useful object.

Procedure:

  1. Take an empty five-liter plastic bottle, cut off the upper and lower parts in a circle. You should get a cylinder with the same diameter bases.

Important! Both parts are best cut off on one of the waves of the bottle, because we still need these parts.

  1. Put the resulting plastic cylinder on its side, measure with a 8 cm ruler. Make a cut along the entire length of the cylinder.
  2. Do the same on the other side. Thus, you should get two in-depth vessels.
  3. Take the cut bottom of the bottle and mark the middle with a marker. Cut out the center of the bottom. As a result, you should get the central part of the bottom of the bottle and two months-like details.
  4. Attach the resulting details in the shape of a month using adhesive tape to the edges of a recessed vessel.
  5. Cut off the neck from the top of the bottle previously cut off. The item without a neck will become the stand of our bread box.

Important! Correct the shape of this part so that it is stable for the entire bread box.

  1. Cut the newspaper into oblong small strips, with PVA glue, glue completely the outside of the future bread box.

Important! Pay particular attention to the edges of the plastic. They should also be pasted with a newspaper - so you will make them safer.

  1. Lubricate both sides of the vessel with PVA glue liberally.

Important! From the outside you will lubricate the newspaper layer, from the inside - plastic.

  1. When the glue dries, determine the center of the bottom of the bowl of the bread box, try on a stand to it. Circle the stand mounting location along the contour.
  2. Apply hot-melt glue along the drawn outline and glue the stand to the bowl of the bread box.
  3. Take a large coin in size, use it to draw waves in the upper part of the bowl and the bottom of the stand.
  4. Cut the excess on the drawn contour - you should get a bowl with a wavy edge and a stand with the same decor.
  5. Glue with PVA the inner and outer surfaces of the bread box with a regular napkin.
  6. Take a three-layer napkin, separate the outer layer with a picture.
  7. Cut the remaining white two-layer part into long strips.
  8. Dampen a terry towel in water and place on a table.
  9. Put the strips from the napkin on a towel, thus moistening them a little, and twist the flagella out of them.
  10. Lubricate the wavy edges of the breadbox with glue and glue the flagellum along the contour.Do this along the entire length of the bowl and bottom of the product.

Important! With the help of small scissors, you can adjust the deepening of the waves, shoving the flagellum into it.

  1. The outer surface of the bread box in the wave zone can be decorated with peas. Lubricate the spot with glue in the right places and glue the peas.
  2. Draw some kind of ornament on the outside of the product - these may be plant branches, leaves, or some other motifs.

Important! You can draw only on one of the sides - this will be the front side of the bread product.

  1. Apply glue along the drawn outline, glue the flagella from the napkin to those places.
  2. Paint the whole breadbox fully with acrylic paint.

Important! Convex elements of decor (these are glued flagella and peas) can be distinguished by another paint applied over the main layer of acrylic.

  1. Coat the breadbox with acrylic varnish.
  2. Wait for the varnish to dry.

Thus, you quickly and easily made a bread box of plastic bottles with your own hands. Having placed a napkin inside the bowl, you can use an original and beautiful object for its intended purpose.
