How to make a classic system?

• wooden blocks for the manufacture of legs, the length of which is 110 cm - 3 pcs.;

• ordinary screws;
• M10 brand bolts.

• electric jigsaw;
• wood drills and drill;
• staples and furniture stapler or upholstery nails with a hammer;

Before you understand how to make an ironing board with your own hands, prepare all the tools and materials. Then:

1. You should round off one end of the board with a jigsaw.
2. Next - using a drill in long bars, drill holes through D 8 mm. Two holes need to be drilled: one is approximately in the middle, but the second is a few centimeters from the edge.
3. Using a cork drill, make a sampling near the holes in 2 of 3 bars in order to drown the bolt caps in it.
4. After that, connect all 3 future legs with bolts through the middle hole, rotate the bar that stands in the middle, 180⁰.
5. Take a small block, drill a through hole of 8 mm in it, about 3 cm from the edge. On either side of the hole you must complete the selection.
6. Then connect the workpiece with one of the large wooden blocks with a bolt through the outer hole.
7. Do the same with the remaining short bar, only now attach it to another long leg.
8. Turn small sticks 90 °, attach them with screws to the surface of the board. Remember to retreat about 18 cm from its edge.
9. You have received a fixed support for the ironing board. To fasten the movable leg during the layout of the board, you can make a recess in the right place with a jigsaw or fill up another block into which the leg will rest.
10. The final stage - install your board, check its horizontal, as well as stability. If necessary, trim the legs.
11. After this, cover the ironing surface with a thick cloth with a pad using a stapler or upholstery nails.

   The next is a layer of facing material - any fabric that you like, but it should be resistant to sufficiently high temperatures.
4. Using a stapler and a hammer, carry out the fastening procedure as you did with the first layer.
5. Use scissors to cut off excess pieces of hanging fabric.
