It should be noted that real brickwork does not always surpass its imitation. However, in most cases, it is not possible to lay out the wall in small fragments or to build a real brick wall. There can be many reasons for this:

What are brick wallpapers?

There are three types of wallpaper:

• Vinyl.
• Non-woven.

They differ from each other both in qualities, which are determined by the difference in the basis, and in the realism of imitation of the brick surface itself. Compare to choose the perfect brick wall design:

• The best, as a rule, is considered vinyl wallpaper, which is made of foam plastic. Such a coating well imitates not only the appearance of the masonry, but also its texture. In addition to decorative, they have a protective function.
• It is also worth noting that vinyl wallpapers withstand frequent washing, high humidity, temperature. In addition, this material is resistant to abrasion, and it follows that they can be used both in the design of the hallway with brick wallpaper, and in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
• As for the non-woven wallpaper, they also look very believable, and besides, they are easier to stick on. Also, their huge plus for state employees is the low price. But unlike the first option, the material is not so realistic and durable.

Use in the interior

Imitation of brick walls can be used in the same places as the original material. As a rule, it is used for the purpose of zoning the premises, therefore they are very functional.

Important! There is one exception - such wallpapers should not be glued in the kitchen, otherwise - they will soon have to be replaced.

• The color of the masonry. Imitation can be absolutely any color, for example, it can repeat the original color of the brick or create the feeling of its artificial coloring. As noted earlier, its color is selected to match the area of ​​the room. If you want to visually enlarge the room, choose a light brick, otherwise - vice versa.

Selection of colors

There are three primary colors for designing brick walls: red, white, and gray. Consider what each of the options for such a palette is used for:

• Red. This color is as close as possible to natural brickwork. They usually finish separate sections: they allocate a place by the fireplace, TV, paste over arches and columns. Having pasted at least one wall of the room, you will immediately notice how it was transformed and healed by a new life.
• White. The texture of such a masonry will complicate the space, and the white color will expand it.
