Making a bean bag

To sew frameless furniture with your own hands, you will need to purchase a lot of fabric, since we need to sew two bags - one external and one internal.

Also required:

• 200-300 l of filler;
• lightning;
• reinforced sewing thread;
• scissors;
• sewing machine.

Working process:

1. Take the finished patterns and redraw them with chalk on the fabric that you have chosen for your chair.

Important! You always need to leave allowances for seams - this is somewhere around 1-1.5 cm.

2. We make two blanks - first the inner bag, and then the outer one.
3. We begin the process of stitching our blanks. To do this, you need to sew the wedges with side edges, and then sew the top and bottom, while sewn in the zipper.
4. After you have made both bags, insert the inner bag into the outer one and start filling up the filler. To do this, you can take either a funnel or an ordinary plastic bottle, or just roll the paper into a tube.
5. Open the bag with the filler and put the tube in there, glue it with tape so that there are no holes through which the filler will fall to the floor. It is not necessary to fill up completely, but about 50-70% of the volume.
6. If you want to make the chair tougher, then go to sleep more. But we do not recommend this.

Important! If you make a chair from a dense fabric, it is best to sew special valves into the chair. This will help the chair quickly take the shape of the body of the person sitting on it, and will not allow moisture to accumulate in the chair.
