8. To remove greasy stains from plush, alcohol or turpentine will do. Turpentine can also be used with ammonia. Mix the substances in equal proportions and treat the pollution with the resulting solution.

10. Treat a grease stain from engine oil with magnesia powder and a small amount of ether. In the same case, a mixture of turpentine with ammonia can also be used.
11. Prepare a thick slurry of the following components: grated laundry soap - 2 parts, ammonia - 2 parts, purified turpentine - 1 part.
