We take the canvas size 2.0x1.5 m:

• Fold the fabric in half so that a 1.0x1.5 m canvas is obtained.
• Fold the canvas again. The side with a length of 1.0 m is the length of the product. The smaller side is the sleeve and ½ shelves.
• Measure from the top down and side by 7 cm. Draw a smooth line - you get a neck. If you extend the neckline to the side, a boat cutout will come out.

Important! Draw on fabric with chalk or soap. Moreover, the latter option is preferable, since the soap is easily cleaned with an iron.

• Set aside a quarter of the width of the hips from the middle, add 1 cm to the allowance.
• Draw a line parallel to the middle of the fabric. For example, if the total hip circumference is 96 cm, then retreat from the middle by 25 cm (24 + 1). Get 2 shelves - front and rear.
• Step back from the upper bend of 200 mm - this will be the armhole line. Connect the armhole to the bottom using a smooth line.

Important! The “bat” style distinguishes the armhole to the waist. The armhole line thus forms a semicircle.

• Now cut out the details, not forgetting the seam allowances. Separately cut the neckline. If you planned a zipper on the back, keep this in mind when cutting. Now it remains only to grind the seams of the product, to process the neck, sleeves and bottom.
