Proper care for leather leatherette shoes is necessary for the reason that some troubles may occur during socks. These include:

• rapid wear of the material and loss of initial attractiveness;
• deformation of the product when exposed to temperature, moisture;
• corns on the legs;
• unpleasant smell - both the shoe itself and the skin of the feet.

Artificial Skin Care

Shoes made of such materials are actually extremely convenient in use because they do not have to spend a lot of money and their own time to keep them clean. The use of creams, waxes and various oily aerosols, unlike genuine leather products, is not only not recommended, but undesirable.

Thanks to this, all artificial skin care is as follows:

1. Wipe the surface of the wardrobe item after coming home with a slightly damp cloth or foam sponge.
2. With severe contamination, a slightly concentrated soap solution can be used instead of plain water. But its residues after cleaning the shoes will need to be carefully removed so that no stains form.
3. Drying is allowed only in natural conditions - never place products on radiators, coils in the bathroom, in direct sunlight or near other sources of intense heat.
4. To protect against moisture, periodically polish the material with a soft flannel rag with a small amount of glycerin.
5. Treat at least 1 time per week with daily wear the inside of such shoes with a deodorant or fungus prophylaxis.

Important! The stretch procedure can also be included in the shoe care items made of artificial leather if you feel uncomfortable in the first cases of socks. For this purpose, modern sprays for stretching the material are best suited.

The method of their application is extremely simple:

• Spray the product onto the surface.
• Pull the material slightly in the places where the shoes are squeezed, or insert special form holders.
• Wait for the foam to soak and dry.

Thorough cleaning of leatherette shoes

No matter how we strive to comply with the recommendations of manufacturers regarding the season and weather, it will never be possible to predict all the tricks of nature.

Therefore, if you had to walk through puddles, mud or melt snow in leatherette shoes, do the following when you get home:

1. Arm yourself with suitable tools and equipment.You will need a medium soft brush with a natural pile, hair shampoo, a moisture barrier, a soft rag, a spray from drying out and cracking.
2. Clean the main dirt from the surface with a soft cloth.
3. Remove dried dirt with a brush.
4. Wipe the shoes or shoes with a rag, soaking it in a shampoo diluted with water.
5. Wipe and dry the product well.
6. Apply impregnation to protect the material from various adverse factors.

Important! Be sure to finish with an antistatic agent so that leatherette attracts less dust and dirt.

What can not be done with artificial leather shoes:

1. Never wash shoes made of leather substitute in the washing machine.
2. If you need to wash a large amount of dirt, only slightly bring the product under an open stream of warm water of a small pressure. Do not immerse shoes in a basin of water.
3. Do not use organic solvents such as acetone or alcohol.
4. Do not dry clean your shoe - this will ruin it completely.
