The film is a high-strength accessory that is made from high-quality polymer. The degree of protection of a smartphone depends on its plasticity. This is the most affordable and easiest way to protect your screen from scuffs and scratches. It perfectly protects against mechanical damage, but with a serious fall of the phone, it will most likely not be able to save the screen.

Most often, a protective film is a thin sheet of plastic that fits a specific phone model. There are universal blanks that are suitable for displays of smartphones with a certain diagonal. This is a rectangular sheet with a grid, thanks to which you can cut the right size to your phone.

They are divided by the method of fixing on the display into two types:

• Statistical - hold onto the surface using a thin, glueless silicone coating. They adhere well to clean and smooth surfaces without leaving bubbles. They can be removed, re-glued many times, washed.
• On a glue basis - they can be removed for cleaning, but gluing back is very difficult, because bubbles appear.

Glossy

This species is the most common.

Benefits:

• It hides small scratches on the display of the smartphone and prevents the appearance of new ones.
• Does not distort colors, does not blur images on the screen.
• Very thin and almost invisible, does not in any way affect the sensitivity of the screen.

• Excellent color rendering.

Disadvantages:

Advantages:

5. It sticks easier due to the fact that it is thicker and denser.

Disadvantages:

Mirrored

This type of film for mobile is very rare. Its surface creates a “mirror effect”, which becomes invisible when the display is turned on.

The disadvantages are - frequent cleaning of the surface, since fingerprints are very visible on it, and also the color rendering is slightly worse than that of the types described above.

How to stick a film?

• Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to wipe dust off the screen. In most cases, it comes complete with a protective layer.
• Most often, the protective film has cutouts. To get it exactly, it is necessary, without removing the transport layer, to attach it to the screen so that all the holes coincide.
• Glue the protective layer to the side of the case using adhesive tape on one side.

Important! Glue the adhesive tape so that the film can be lifted and the lower part removed from it, it is called “Please peel off this mask before application”.

• Carefully remove the lower protective part that has sticker 1 and the inscription “Please peel off this mask before application” is on it.

Important! Do not touch the adhesive backing of the protective film.

• Glue the protective film, accurately and evenly exposing vertically and horizontally.
• Remove the lower protective layer, stick it to the display.
• The film should lie on the screen smoothly and without distortions. If it did not work out the first time, then peel it off carefully and re-stick it.
